Syringa vulgaris 'Sensation'
Syringa vulgaris 'Sensation' is a truly distinctive lilac, celebrated for its striking bi-coloured flowers. In late spring, deep violet-purple buds open into elegant conical clusters of fragrant blooms, each petal beautifully edged in crisp white, creating a dramatic and eye-catching display.
This upright, deciduous shrub makes an excellent specimen plant in borders or large gardens and is also well suited to cutting gardens, where its unusual flowers can be enjoyed indoors. Easy to grow and highly attractive to pollinators, ‘Sensation’ thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, rewarding gardeners with reliable flowering year after year.
