Syringa vulgaris 'Andenken an Ludwig Spath'
Syringa vulgaris 'Andenken an Ludwig Spath' is a classic deciduous lilac celebrated for its richly scented, deep reddish-purple flower panicles that appear in late spring. The dramatic blooms are held above heart-shaped green leaves, creating a bold and highly fragrant display.
This tall, upright and vigorous shrub is ideal for adding structure, colour and perfume to borders, hedges and traditional cottage gardens.
