Spiraea 'Walberton's Plum Carpet'
Spiraea 'Walberton's Plum Carpet' - outstanding new compact variety selected for its amazing plum-coloured young leaves that emerge in spring and still look good in summer when the vibrant magenta flowers open in June. Then the foliage turns a rich burgundy colour in autumn. It is a non-evergreen shrub and is completely hardy in all parts of the UK. Plant in fertile, well-drained soil. A natural pairing with Spiraea 'Magic Carpet'.
