Skimmia japonica 'Temptation / O'Berry'
Skimmia japonica 'Temptation / O'Berry' is a compact evergreen shrub with glossy dark green foliage and excellent year-round appeal. Unlike many Skimmias, this self-fertile variety can produce berries without the need for a separate male pollinator.
Fragrant creamy-white flowers open in spring from attractive yellow-green buds, creating a fresh seasonal display. These are followed by clusters of bright red berries that persist through autumn and winter, providing valuable colour during the colder months.
Ideal for shaded borders, woodland-style planting and patio containers, 'Temptation / O'Berry' performs best in moist but well-drained soil in partial shade. Its compact habit and long season of interest make it especially useful for winter displays and smaller garden spaces.
