Sisyrinchium 'Sapphire' is a charming, compact perennial that produces masses of star-shaped violet-blue flowers with bright yellow centres above neat clumps of slender, grass-like foliage. Flowering from late spring through summer, it brings vibrant colour and delicate texture to a wide range of garden settings.
This easy-to-grow variety is particularly effective planted along path edges, in gravel gardens, rockeries, and sunny borders where its upright habit and long flowering season can be fully appreciated. The blooms are attractive to pollinators and combine beautifully with other drought-tolerant perennials.
