Sansevieria 'Fernwood Mikado'
Sansevieria ‘Fernwood Mikado’ is a stylish and contemporary houseplant with slender, cylindrical leaves that grow upright in a fan-like formation. The dark green foliage is marked with subtle lighter banding, creating a refined, textured look while maintaining a clean, architectural shape.
Perfect for bright indoor spaces but highly tolerant of lower light levels, it works beautifully on desks, shelves or as a compact floor feature where its vertical form can add structure without taking up much space. Its tough, drought-tolerant nature makes it an excellent low-maintenance choice for homes and offices.

Sansevieria Care Sheet
Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal but tolerates low light conditions. Avoid prolonged harsh direct sun
Water: Allow soil to dry out completely between watering. Water sparingly, especially in winter
Soil/Nutrition: Free-draining cactus or succulent compost. Feed lightly during spring and summer
Humidity: Average indoor humidity is suitable
Pruning and propagation: Remove damaged leaves at the base if required. Propagate by division

Sansevieria Care
Light: Bright, filtered light, but is also extremely tolerant.
Water: Sansevieria needs little water. Especially in the winter they need less watering. A half glass of water every 2 months is sufficient. In spring and summer, it is advised to moisten the soil every 2 weeks.
Temperature: Sansevieria like room temperature around 18-25°C. They do not like temperatures below 10°C
Soil: Use a well-draining universal potting soil.
Fertiliser: Sansevieria does not need much extra fertiliser. From April to July, the plant needs a feed once every two weeks.
Repotting: Sansevieria do well in the same pot for years. Repot only when necessary. Use a well-draining soil that has plenty of perlite and some sand. Repot in a container that is no more than one size larger.
