Sanguisorba menziesii 'Wake Up'
Sanguisorba menziesii 'Wake Up' is a clump-forming, deciduous herbaceous perennial producing upright, bottlebrush-like flower spikes in rich shades of red and pink, held above attractive blue-grey foliage.
This variety is particularly floriferous, with longer, softer, cloud-like flowerheads that create a light, airy effect in borders. One of the earlier Sanguisorba to flower, it brings colour from late spring into early summer, making it ideal for extending seasonal interest. Its distinctive blooms are also excellent for use in cut flower arrangements.
