Salix x sepulcralis 'Erythroflexuosa'
Salix 'Erythroflexuosa' is an unusual willow grown for its contorted stems and twisted golden branches. More shrub-like in form than a traditional weeping willow, it develops into a medium to large multi-stemmed shrub with an upright, spreading habit. The narrow leaves emerge bronze-green in spring, turn mid-green through summer, and take on golden autumn tones before falling. In winter the bare, spiralled stems provide striking architectural effect in the garden.
