Salix integra 'Hakuro-nishiki'
Salix integra 'Hakuro-nishiki' is a striking deciduous willow grown in standard form, prized for its dramatic, colour-changing foliage. In spring, fresh growth bursts into shades of soft pink, creamy white and green, forming a rounded canopy that resembles a flamingo’s plumage.
As the season progresses, the foliage matures to pale green with creamy white variegation, retaining its elegant appearance through summer. Produced as a grafted standard, this lollipop-shaped tree is ideal for containers, patios, entranceways and formal borders. Regular pruning in late winter or early spring encourages vigorous new growth and maintains the compact crown and vivid colouring.
