Rosa 'Elizabeth'
Rose 'Elizabeth' is a majestic English shrub rose producing clusters of large, beautifully formed rosettes in crisp apple-blossom pink that gradually fade to the softest blush white. The elegant blooms create a refined display and appear repeatedly through the flowering season.
Bred by David Austin and introduced in 2022, this rose forms a shapely and commanding shrub with excellent health and garden performance. The flowers release a strong, fresh fragrance combining notes of lemon sherbet with classic Old Rose perfume. Versatile and resilient, it performs well in borders, containers and hedging, and tolerates exposed or challenging garden conditions.

Getting the most from your new Rose
Where to plant
Choose an open, sunny position with free-draining soil. Avoid planting where roses have grown before or transfer fresh soil to the site. Patio roses can be planted in mixed borders or alongside other roses, or in pots and containers.
Planting
Roses love organic matter, so mix well-rotten manure, leaf mould or compost into the soil. Water thoroughly before planting. Make a hole big enough not to disturb the root ball. Remove from the pot and ensure the top of the root ball is level with the surrounding soil. Back-fill soil mixed with a good fertilizer, then firm. Water thoroughly.
Aftercare
Water well until established. Mulching will keep the soil weed-free and moist. For best results feed your roses with fertilizer in spring and again in summer. Remove faded flowers to encourage speedy repeat flowering.
Simple Pruning
Prune your rose in March or before new growth by removing any dead or very thin branches and reducing the height by 1/3 to 2/3 of the previous growth.
