Rhododendron 'Praecox'
Rhododendron 'Praecox' is a compact semi-evergreen shrub with glossy dark green foliage and one of the earliest floral displays of the year. From January to March, it produces clusters of rosy-pink to lilac flowers that brighten the garden long before most spring plants begin to bloom.
Fully hardy and reliable, it is ideal for small gardens, woodland edges or containers, where its early colour and compact form can be appreciated. The nectar-rich flowers provide an important early food source for bees and pollinators emerging at the start of the season.
