Platycladus orientalis 'Morgan'
Platycladus orientalis 'Morgan' is a compact evergreen conifer with soft, flattened sprays of foliage. Fresh growth emerges lime-green with golden tones, becoming greener with age before developing coppery orange shades in winter.
Its dense, upright habit gradually forms a neat conical shape, adding structure and texture throughout the year. Slow growing and decorative, 'Morgan' is ideal for small borders, rock gardens and patio containers, where its changing foliage colours can be appreciated.
Grow in full sun in moist but well-drained soil, choosing a sheltered position away from strong winds. Water regularly while establishing and check container-grown plants frequently during dry weather.
