Physostegia virginiana 'Rosea' is a charming upright perennial that produces elegant spikes of soft pink flowers from mid to late summer. Commonly known as the Obedient Plant, it brings vertical interest, colour and movement to sunny borders, cottage gardens and naturalistic planting schemes.

The neat, straight stems are topped with densely packed flower spikes that attract bees and other pollinators throughout the flowering season. Its architectural form makes it an excellent companion for ornamental grasses, echinacea, rudbeckia and other late-summer perennials.

Easy to grow and reliably hardy, 'Rosea' thrives in full sun or partial shade and performs best in fertile, free-draining soil. Its long flowering period and strong garden presence make it a valuable addition to mixed borders.
