Phlox douglasii 'White Admiral'
Phlox douglasii 'White Admiral' is a compact evergreen alpine that forms a dense cushion of narrow, needle-like green foliage. Its tidy, spreading habit provides year-round structure in sunny rockeries and at the front of borders.
A profusion of pure white flowers with a subtle yellow eye covers the plant in late spring and early summer. The lightly fragrant blooms can attract bees, butterflies and moths.
Grow in well-drained soil in full sun or light partial shade. 'White Admiral' is an excellent choice for rock gardens, gravel planting, wall crevices, troughs and containers, where its bright flowers can be enjoyed at close range.
