Philodendron 'Red Anderson' is a rare and eye-catching hybrid Philodendron with glossy leaves that emerge in shades of cream, pink and burgundy and gradually mature to deep green with a subtle sheen. Its climbing or trailing growth habit makes it a versatile choice for moss poles, trellises, or cascading from shelves.
This variety thrives in bright, humid rooms and makes a stunning feature plant in modern interiors. Its colourful new growth provides year-round interest, while its manageable size makes it easier to grow indoors than many larger Philodendron types.

Philodendron Care Sheet
Light: Prefers bright but indirect light, avoiding direct sunlight to prevent leaf burn. Thrives in temperatures above 18°C.
Water: Water when the top inch of soil is dry. Avoid overwatering and ensure good drainage. Browning edges may indicate too much water.
Soil/Nutrition: Best in a well-draining potting mix with added perlite or orchid bark. Feed monthly during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertilizer.
Humidity: Loves high humidity (60–80%). Regular misting or using a humidifier is recommended.
Pruning and propagation: Prune leggy growth to maintain shape. Propagate through stem cuttings in water or moist soil.
