Philodendron Care Sheet
Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal for maintaining strong colour and healthy growth. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight which may scorch leaves.
Water: Water when the top few centimetres of soil feel dry. Keep compost lightly moist but never waterlogged.
Soil/Nutrition: Well-draining aroid potting mix with good aeration. Feed monthly during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertiliser.
Humidity: Benefits from moderate to higher humidity but adapts well to average indoor conditions.
Pruning and propagation: Remove older or damaged leaves to maintain shape. Can be propagated via stem cuttings with nodes.
