Persicaria 'Bonfire' is a vigorous, spreading perennial that brings vibrant late-season colour to the garden with its distinctive warm red flower spikes. Flowering from July through to October, it provides months of interest and valuable colour when many other perennials are beginning to fade.
Forming a compact, ground-covering clump, this versatile variety produces graceful dark green leaves with pointed tips that create an attractive backdrop to the upright blooms. Its spreading habit makes it particularly effective in mixed borders, naturalistic planting schemes and larger drifts where it can create a striking display.
