Pennisetum advena 'Fireworks'
Pennisetum 'Fireworks' is a spectacular clump-forming ornamental grass prized for its vibrant variegated foliage and graceful arching habit. The slender leaves are beautifully striped with shades of red, pink, green and creamy white, providing outstanding colour from spring through to autumn.
From summer into autumn, rich maroon flower plumes rise above the foliage, adding movement and texture to borders and containers. Its relaxed, fountain-like habit complements a wide range of planting styles, from contemporary gardens to prairie-inspired and cottage borders.
Easy to grow and low maintenance, 'Fireworks' performs best in a sunny, sheltered position with well-drained soil. It is also suitable for coastal gardens, where its colourful foliage and elegant form create a striking feature throughout the growing season.
