Parrotia persica 'Persian Spire'
Parrotia 'Persian Spire' is a slender, upright tree with vibrant foliage and year-round appeal. ‘Persian Spire’ is a compact, columnar selection of Persian ironwood, perfect for smaller gardens or tight spaces. It emerges in spring with purple-flushed young leaves, which mature to green with burgundy margins. In autumn, the foliage turns a dazzling mix of orange, red and yellow. Bare stems display tiny, spidery red flowers in late winter.
