Monstera obliqua 'Peru' is a rare and sought after variety of monstera, with delicate, heart shaped leaves with dramatic fenestrations. The foliage is more hole than leaf, giving it a lace-like, airy look. Best grown in a high-humidity environment with stable warmth and support to climb.

Monstera Care Sheet
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Too much direct sun can scorch its delicate leaves.
Water: Keep soil consistently moist but never soggy. Allow the top layer to dry slightly between waterings.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a light, airy mix such as orchid bark, coco coir, and perlite. Feed monthly with a balanced liquid fertiliser in the growing season.
Humidity: Requires high humidity (70%+) to thrive. Use a humidifier or grow in a terrarium for best results.
Pruning & Propagation: Prune only to manage size. Propagation possible via stem cuttings but can be slow to root.
