Monstera ‘Peru’ is an exceptionally rare and highly sought-after Monstera, prized for its delicate, heart-shaped leaves with extreme fenestrations. The foliage is famously more hole than leaf, creating a lace-like, airy appearance that gives this plant an almost unreal, sculptural quality. It is one of the most distinctive aroids grown indoors and a true collector’s piece.
Best suited to high-humidity environments with stable warmth, this climbing Monstera performs best when supported by a moss pole and placed in bright, indirect light. Ideal for cabinets, conservatories, or carefully controlled indoor spaces, it rewards attentive growers with breathtaking foliage unlike any other houseplant.

Monstera Care Sheet
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Too much direct sun can scorch its delicate leaves.
Water: Keep soil consistently moist but never soggy. Allow the top layer to dry slightly between waterings.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a light, airy mix such as orchid bark, coco coir, and perlite. Feed monthly with a balanced liquid fertiliser in the growing season.
Humidity: Requires high humidity (70%+) to thrive. Use a humidifier or grow in a terrarium for best results.
Pruning & Propagation: Prune only to manage size. Propagation possible via stem cuttings but can be slow to root.
