Golden Marjoram
Origanum vulgare 'Aureum' is a low-growing, aromatic perennial valued for its vibrant golden-yellow foliage. Its softly textured leaves create a warm, glowing effect and provide an attractive contrast against darker green plants.
During summer, clusters of small pink flowers rise above the foliage, adding extra seasonal colour. The blooms are highly attractive to bees and other pollinating insects, while the leaves release a pleasant herbal fragrance when brushed.
Ideal for herb gardens, rockeries, path edging and patio containers, Golden Marjoram thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. Its compact, spreading habit makes it an easy and colourful choice for low-maintenance planting schemes.
