Mammillaria hahniana
Mammillaria hahniana is an attractive, globular cactus covered in dense white, woolly hairs and fine spines, giving it a distinctive soft appearance. In its native habitat this woolly covering helps protect the plant from intense sunlight and heat.
Over time it forms clusters of rounded stems, creating an increasingly impressive specimen. Mature plants can produce a delicate ring of small pink flowers around the top of each head, contrasting beautifully with the white wool and spines.

Mammillaria Care
Light: Bright light with some direct sunlight; a sunny windowsill is ideal
Water: Water thoroughly during spring and summer, allowing the compost to dry out completely between waterings
Humidity: Prefers dry conditions and does not require additional humidity
Temperature: Enjoys warm conditions during active growth; keep cooler and dry during winter but protect from frost
Feeding: Feed occasionally with a specialist cactus fertiliser during spring and summer
Winter care: Keep almost completely dry during winter to encourage healthy growth and flowering the following season
