Lythrum salicaria 'Robert' is a compact selection of the native Purple Loosestrife, producing upright spikes of rich pink-purple flowers above vibrant, lance-shaped green foliage. The bold flower spikes create a strong vertical accent in borders while providing a colourful display through the height of summer.
Flowering from midsummer into early autumn, it thrives in moist soils and is particularly well suited to pond edges, wildlife gardens and naturalistic planting schemes. Its nectar-rich flowers are highly attractive to bees and other pollinators, making it a valuable plant for supporting garden biodiversity.
