Lithodora diffusa 'Blue Star'
Lithodora diffusa 'Blue Star' is a charming alpine perennial forming neat, evergreen cushions of compact needle-like foliage. In spring and early summer, the plant bursts into colour with masses of starry flowers featuring crisp white margins and vivid blue brushstrokes through the centre of each petal.
Its low-growing, spreading habit makes it perfect for rock gardens, alpine troughs, gravel planting, and the front of sunny borders. Best grown in well-drained soil, this eye-catching variety provides a long flowering display and excellent evergreen structure throughout the year.
