Liriope muscari 'Gold Band'
Liriope 'Gold Band' is a tough, clump-forming evergreen perennial valued for its striking variegated foliage. Its arching green leaves are edged with bright golden-yellow margins, providing colour and texture throughout the year.
From late summer into autumn, upright spikes of violet-purple flowers rise above the foliage, creating an attractive contrast before being followed by glossy black berries. The flowers also provide useful late-season interest in borders and planting schemes.
'Gold Band' is versatile and easy to grow, performing well in sun, partial shade or full shade. Its neat, spreading habit makes it particularly useful for edging paths, underplanting shrubs and trees, or creating evergreen ground cover in more difficult shaded areas.
