Liatris spicata
Liatris spicata is a striking upright perennial prized for its tall spikes of fluffy lavender-purple flowers that open from the top down, creating a unique and eye-catching display throughout summer. The architectural flower wands rise above narrow green foliage, adding height, structure and movement to borders.
Exceptionally attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects, this North American prairie plant is ideal for wildlife-friendly gardens and naturalistic planting schemes.
