Iris germanica 'Susan Bliss'
Iris germanica 'Susan Bliss' is an elegant bearded iris producing soft pastel lilac-purple flowers with warm yellow throats. The gently ruffled blooms appear in late spring and carry a delicate fragrance, standing above neat fans of sword-like grey-green foliage.
This hardy perennial brings subtle colour and scent to sunny borders and cottage garden planting schemes. Like most bearded irises, it performs best in full sun and well-drained soil where the rhizomes sit close to the soil surface, becoming drought tolerant once established.
