Hydrangea paniculata 'Pinky Winky'
Hydrangea paniculata 'Pinky Winky' is a striking deciduous shrub producing large, cone-shaped flower panicles that change colour as the season progresses. The flowers open creamy white in mid to late summer before the lower florets gradually deepen to rich pink, while fresh white blooms continue to develop towards the tips.
This creates a distinctive two-tone effect, with white and pink flowers appearing together on the same panicle. The long-lasting blooms continue into autumn and are held on strong, upright stems, making 'Pinky Winky' an excellent choice for adding height, colour and structure to borders.
Hardy, reliable and easy to grow, 'Pinky Winky' performs well in full sun or partial shade and is adaptable to a wide range of soil types. Its bold flowers and upright habit also make it suitable for specimen planting and large containers.
