Hydrangea macrophylla 'Magical Ruby Tuesday'
Hydrangea macrophylla 'Magical Ruby Tuesday' is a compact deciduous shrub renowned for its spectacular colour-changing mophead flowers. The large rounded blooms begin with fresh green tones flushed with red before gradually developing through rosy pink to intense ruby and deep red shades.
Flowering throughout summer, 'Magical Ruby Tuesday' provides a remarkably long-lasting display, with different stages of colour often appearing on the plant at the same time. The rich flowers contrast beautifully with its lush, dark green foliage and are also excellent for cutting.
Ideal for mixed borders, feature planting and large patio containers, this robust Hydrangea performs best in moist but well-drained soil in partial shade or gentle sun. Its compact, bushy habit makes it particularly useful for smaller gardens and colourful container displays.
