Hemerocallis 'Little Wine Cup'
Hemerocallis 'Little Wine Cup' is a compact and floriferous daylily producing an abundance of rich wine-red flowers with contrasting yellow throats throughout early to midsummer. The elegant blooms rise above neat clumps of arching, strap-like foliage, bringing vibrant colour to borders, cottage gardens and mixed perennial plantings.
This reliable herbaceous perennial is valued for its long-lasting garden performance, drought tolerance once established and ease of cultivation. The compact habit makes it particularly useful for smaller gardens, front-of-border positions and container displays.
Each flower lasts for a single day, but the plant continually produces fresh buds over several weeks, ensuring an extended display of colour. It thrives in full sun and performs well in a wide range of soil types provided they are moist but well-drained.
