Gymnocalycium damsii
Gymnocalycium damsii is a compact, attractive cactus with a rounded to slightly flattened green body divided into pronounced ribs and edged with short, curved spines. Mature plants can produce elegant funnel-shaped flowers in shades of white to soft pink during the warmer months.
Its small size and relatively easy-going nature make it ideal for sunny windowsills, cactus collections and mixed succulent displays. Provide plenty of bright light, excellent drainage and careful watering, allowing the compost to dry thoroughly between waterings.

Gymnocalycium Care
Light: Bright light with some direct sunlight; introduce stronger sun gradually to avoid scorching
Water: Water thoroughly during spring and summer, then allow the compost to dry completely before watering again
Humidity: Prefers normal to low household humidity with good air circulation
Temperature: Enjoys warm conditions during active growth and should be protected from frost
Feeding: Feed occasionally with a specialist cactus fertiliser during spring and summer
Winter care: Keep drier and reduce watering significantly while growth slows
