Erigeron karvinskianus 'Stallone'
Erigeron karvinskianus 'Stallone' is a semi-evergreen, low-growing perennial forming a neat mound of wiry stems and bright green foliage. Throughout summer it is covered in masses of daisy-like flowers with yellow centres, opening white and ageing to rose pink for a charming two-tone effect. Flowering begins in late spring and continues well into autumn, often from late April or May in mild years. A more uniform and slightly taller selection than the species, it regrows reliably even after cold winters. This variety also holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit (AGM), reflecting its exceptional garden performance.
An excellent choice for wildlife gardening, it is officially listed as an RHS Plants for Pollinators plant, providing a valuable and long-lasting nectar source for bees and other pollinating insects. Perfect for trailing over walls, softening paving edges or colonising cracks and crevices, it thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, self-seeding lightly to create a naturalised look.
