Erica carnea 'Wintersonne'
Erica 'Wintersonne' is a colourful winter-flowering heather that brings welcome brightness to the garden in the colder months. From December through to March, it produces masses of small, bell-shaped, rose-pink flowers that cover the plant, creating a vibrant display when little else is in bloom. Its neat, low-growing, evergreen foliage remains attractive year-round, forming dense mounds that provide excellent groundcover.
This hardy and easy-to-grow variety thrives in acidic, well-drained soils and is especially effective in rockeries, borders, and containers. Its long flowering season and compact habit make it a reliable choice for adding colour and structure to winter gardens. Holder of the RHS Award of Garden Merit for its outstanding garden performance.
