Erica carnea 'Springwood White' is an outstanding winter-flowering heather, valued for its bright green foliage and masses of pure white flowers that appear from late winter into early spring. One of the toughest and most reliable heathers, this variety thrives in cold conditions and continues to bloom through frost, snow, rain and wind, providing exceptional winter garden value.
Low-growing and spreading, it forms an attractive evergreen mat ideal for ground cover, rock gardens, banks or the front of borders. Unlike many heathers, Erica carnea tolerates both acidic and lime-containing soils, making it highly adaptable. Plant in full sun for the best flowering display, and lightly trim after flowering to maintain compact growth.
