Dahlia 'Trooper Dan'
Dahlia 'Trooper Dan' is a cheerful semi-cactus dahlia producing large, lemon yellow blooms from midsummer until the first frosts. The striking flowers feature elegantly pointed petals that add both texture and vibrant colour to borders, patios and cut flower arrangements.
Its long flowering season makes this variety a reliable performer throughout late summer and autumn, while the sturdy stems provide excellent blooms for cutting. Equally at home in borders or large containers, 'Trooper Dan' brings a bright focal point wherever it is planted.
For best results, grow in a sunny, sheltered position with fertile, well-drained soil. In colder areas, lift and store the tubers over winter to protect them from frost.
