Dahlia 'Bishop of Canterbury'
Dahlia 'Bishop of Canterbury' is a striking and much-loved dahlia, producing vibrant bright pink flowers held above dramatic dark bronze foliage. The single, open-centred blooms create a beautiful contrast against the rich foliage, bringing bold colour and interest to the garden from mid-summer until the first frosts.
Part of the renowned Bishop series, this variety is highly attractive to bees and other pollinating insects thanks to its open flower form. It works wonderfully in mixed borders, cottage garden schemes and wildlife-friendly plantings, where its dark foliage provides a striking backdrop to neighbouring perennials.
Easy to grow and free flowering, 'Bishop of Canterbury' also makes an excellent cut flower, providing a continuous supply of blooms for indoor arrangements throughout the season. In colder areas, tubers should be lifted and stored frost-free over winter.
