Large, deeply cut silvery-green leaves form an impressive clump, topped in summer by thistle-like purple flowers if left to mature.
Ideal for sunny borders and kitchen gardens, this Mediterranean plant thrives in well-drained soil and adds strong structure and height to planting schemes. Harvest the immature flower buds for culinary use, or allow them to bloom for dramatic visual impact and pollinator appeal.
