Cupressus sempervirens 'Pyramidalis'
Cupressus sempervirens 'Pyramidalis' is the classic Italian Cypress, renowned for its tall, narrow, columnar habit that brings instant Mediterranean character to gardens. Its dense, evergreen foliage is rich green in colour and held tightly against the stems, creating a striking architectural silhouette throughout the year.
Often seen lining avenues and framing entrances in southern Europe, this elegant conifer makes a superb specimen plant, formal accent or screening feature. Its naturally upright growth requires minimal pruning, making it an excellent choice for creating height and structure in both traditional and contemporary landscapes.
Drought tolerant once established and well suited to sunny, sheltered positions, 'Pyramidalis' thrives in well-drained soil and provides year-round interest with very little maintenance.
