Cotoneaster frigidus 'Cornubia'
Cotoneaster frigidus 'Cornubia' is a vigorous, semi-evergreen large shrub or small tree valued for its graceful arching branches, glossy dark green foliage, and spectacular displays of bright red berries in autumn and winter. Clusters of small white flowers appear in late spring and early summer, attracting a wide range of pollinating insects.
This fast-growing variety makes an excellent specimen plant, screening shrub, or informal hedge. As the season progresses, the flowers give way to masses of persistent scarlet-red berries that provide valuable food for birds and create outstanding seasonal interest.
