Cotinus coggygria 'Lemon Lady'
Cotinus 'Lemon Lady' is a striking deciduous shrub grown for its changing foliage colours and distinctive summer flowers. New growth emerges with warm orange tones in spring before developing into bright golden yellow leaves as the season progresses.
During summer, airy clusters of tiny yellow-pink flowers create the characteristic soft, smoky effect associated with Cotinus. These feathery flower panicles sit above the foliage and give the plant an unusual, highly decorative appearance.
As autumn arrives, the golden foliage takes on rich orange and red shades, extending the season of interest. 'Lemon Lady' has a strong, upright habit and performs best in full sun in well-drained garden soil, where its foliage colours can develop at their brightest.
