Corylus avellana 'Medusa' is a dramatic contorted hazel with even more intense twists than ‘Contorta’. ‘Medusa’ lives up to its name with a tangle of snake-like stems that create a bold architectural silhouette, particularly striking in winter. Long yellow catkins dangle from the twisted branches in late winter, adding extra seasonal interest. A superb feature plant that brings structure and movement year-round.
