Corydalis curviflora var. rosthornii 'Blue Heron' is a beautiful shade-loving perennial producing rich gentian-blue flowers held above attractive ferny blue-green foliage on striking red stems. The vivid flower colour creates a standout display in woodland gardens and shaded borders from late spring into summer.
This elegant variety thrives in cool, moist conditions where it forms neat clumps of finely divided foliage. During periods of excessive heat or drought it may become summer dormant, returning again as temperatures cool. Ideal for adding unusual colour and texture to sheltered garden spaces.
