Clematis 'Glorious Surprise'
Clematis 'Glorious Surprise' is a late-flowering Group 3 Clematis producing delicate two-toned flowers with creamy white centres and softly pink-edged petals. Blooming from summer into autumn, it brings a fresh and elegant display to walls, fences and garden supports.
The flowers are produced over a long season and stand out beautifully against the green foliage, making 'Glorious Surprise' a lovely choice for adding vertical colour to mixed borders and climbing displays.
Best grown in a sunny position with its roots kept cool and shaded, 'Glorious Surprise' can be trained over trellises, obelisks, fences and other supports. As a Group 3 Clematis, it should be pruned back hard in late winter or early spring to encourage strong new flowering growth.
