Clematis patens 'Mrs George Jackman'
Clematis patens 'Mrs George Jackman' is a small to medium-sized deciduous climber producing large creamy-white flowers with broad overlapping tepals and pinkish-brown stamens from late spring to early summer, with a second flush from late summer into autumn. The first flowers are often semi-double, while the later display is usually single, creating two distinct flower forms on the same plant.
It is particularly well suited to walls, trellis and obelisks where the pale flowers can brighten a mixed planting scheme.
Grow in sun or partial shade in fertile, moist but well-drained soil with a cool shaded root area. Prune lightly in late winter or early spring.
