Clematis florida 'Sieboldii'
Clematis florida 'Sieboldii' is a striking deciduous climber producing exotic-looking bi-colour flowers with pure white petals surrounding a rich purple central boss. Flowering over a long season from late spring through to autumn, it brings dramatic colour and elegance to the garden.
Perfect for growing on trellises, obelisks and walls, this compact clematis is also well suited to large patio containers. The distinctive blooms stand out beautifully against the green foliage and provide a continuous display throughout the summer months.
For best performance, plant in a sheltered, sunny position with the roots kept cool and shaded. As a relation to 'Alba Plena', occasional flowers may display a lime-green centre instead of the characteristic purple colouring.
