Chimonanthus praecox is a superb winter shrub, producing nodding yellow flowers with red centres. Blooming on bare stems from winter into March, these fragrant flowers fill the garden with scent and are excellent for cutting to bring indoors. Green summer foliage follows, extending its garden value throughout the seasons.
