Cherry 'Summer Sun'
Cherry 'Summer Sun' is a reliable dessert cherry producing very good crops of firm, well-flavoured red to deep reddish-black in late July. A hardy and rewarding variety, it is especially valued for performing well in less favourable UK growing conditions.
Grown on Colt rootstock, this tree develops into a manageable, moderately vigorous form suitable for garden planting where space allows. Plant in a sunny, sheltered position in fertile, well-drained soil for the best crops. A suitable pollination partner from Pollination Group 4 is recommended.
