Chamaecyparis 'Ellwoodii' is a handsome evergreen conifer with soft blue to silver-green foliage held in a naturally upright conical form. Its dense, elegant habit and cool-toned colouring make it an excellent choice for adding year-round structure and texture to borders, shrubbery planting, and formal garden schemes.
Slow to moderate growing and easy to maintain, this reliable variety develops approximately 10–15cm of growth per year, making it ideal for low-maintenance gardens and smaller spaces.
