Campanula portenschlagiana 'Clockwise Blue'
Campanula portenschlagiana 'Clockwise Blue' is a compact, mat-forming perennial producing masses of rich violet-blue, star-shaped flowers throughout summer. The vibrant blooms create a striking carpet of colour above dense green foliage.
This variety has a low, spreading habit that makes it ideal for rock gardens, gravel planting, walls, steps and container edges, where the flowers can spill attractively over the sides. It also works well at the front of borders and as colourful groundcover.
Hardy, reliable and easy to grow, this perennial performs well in full sun or partial shade in moist but well-drained soil. Its long flowering season and naturally compact habit make it a useful low-maintenance choice for a wide range of garden settings.
